We are VIP Event Resources, the creators of eventRFP. VIP Event resources is a software company based in Park City, Utah and is also behind the market-leading, sales process management and workflow automation system, VIPER. Our software is in use in over 40 countries around the globe, and to help serve our customers, we have staff in Utah, North Carolina, California, the United Kingdom, Russia, and Brazil.

VIP Event Resources was founded in 2009, and our founding team has decades of experience having founded or worked in Destination Management Companies, Site Selection firms, Meeting Planning firms, Incentive Houses, and some pioneering software companies.


Fiona Volmrich, Chief Executive Officer

  • Over 17 years DMC, Meeting and Incentive Planning experience worldwide.
  • Founder of 3 Meetings and Events companies: VIP Incentives, Destination VIP and VIP Destination Specialists.

David Adams, Chief Technology Officer

  • Founder of four software and ecommerce startup companies.
  • CTO, CEO or divisional head of Product Marketing at six other companies, including public companies such as Red Hat Software and Open Market Inc.

Mark van Hartesvelt, Director

  • Hospitality Professional with expertise in hotels, resorts, food and beverage, gaming and travel.
  • Founding Principal in luxury resort and boutique management company.

Bill Martschenko, VP Engineering

  • 25+ years in software industry. Founder, CTO, Chief Architect, engineering manager, speaker, author, executive consultant. Directly involved in 3 startups.
  • Background in large scale software, business intelligence, team-building, and process improvement.

Andrew Barnard, Chief Operating Officer

  • Finance executive spanning 19 years on Wall Street with JD Capital (hedge fund), Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley.
  • Harvard BA, Dartmouth MBA.

Jeff Volmrich, Director Industry Relations

  • 13 years of DMC experience in wide range of roles including New Business Development, New Destination Development, Director of Sales, General Manager, President and Owner.
  • Through Sales and Industry Relations, instrumental in growing both VIP Incentives and VIP Destination Specialists.
